5 Days of
Wanting More
A private five-day audio experience for noticing what you want before you talk yourself out of it.
Women become very good at editing their desires. We make them smaller, more reasonable, more convenient. For five days, we’re going to experiment with doing the opposite. There is nothing to achieve here. Simply notice what you want before you explain it away.

What Do You
Actually Want?
Today begins with a very simple question: What do you want? Not what would be sensible to want. Not what you should be grateful to already have. Not what would make everyone else comfortable. Notice one desire before your mind has the chance to edit it.
You don’t have to do anything about what you discover. Today is simply about noticing the desire before judging, minimizing or rationalizing it.
Eat What
You Want
Today, we’re going to make desire wonderfully literal. Choose something to eat because you genuinely want it. Not because it is the healthiest choice, the most sensible choice, or what you think you should have.
Today isn’t really about the food. It’s about noticing what happens when you allow yourself to want something — and then allow yourself to have it.
Take Up
More Space
Women learn a thousand tiny ways of making themselves smaller. We apologize. Move aside. Lower our voices. Cross our legs. Make our needs convenient. Try not to be too much. Today, notice where you shrink without even realizing it.
You don’t need to become louder or perform confidence. Simply notice one place where you habitually make yourself smaller — and experiment with not doing it.
Ask for
More
There is a difference between wanting something and allowing yourself to ask for it. Today, identify one thing you want more of: affection, help, money, attention, pleasure, time, beauty, sex, rest.
You don’t necessarily have to ask another person for it today. First, practice saying what you want plainly — even if you only say it privately to yourself.
Stop Making Your
Desire Reasonable
For our final day, notice the desire you keep negotiating with. The one you soften, minimize or translate into something more acceptable. Today, return to the original thing you wanted before you began negotiating with yourself.
You don’t have to pursue every desire you have. But you can stop requiring your desires to become reasonable before you allow yourself to acknowledge them.
